SWISD Adult Education

The Office of Community Education is getting ready to kick off the Adult Education program registration for the 22-23 school year on May 6th.
For many years, the SWISD Adult Education program has helped many parents and community members to complete their GED requirements and received their High School Equivalency certificate. Some chose to continue their education at our area community colleges, others have gone into the workforce, and those who were already in the workforce had the opportunity to pursue job advancement with their current employers.
Completing the GED requirements has also helped many of our ESL students complete the citizenship progress. This year we welcomed 12 new naturalized students into the SWISD community.
We hope we can count on your support by including the attached information to your campus web pages.  Our office will also be delivering flyers for distribution to your students by the end of the week.  Once again, thank you for all you do to help us support our parents.
